Introducing the richest young talent in Bollywood: Riva Arora’s staggering net worth

The notion that a child actor could be the wealthiest in India, boasting a net worth of Rs 8 crores, is nothing short of astounding. The Indian film and television industry, a powerhouse of entertainment on a global scale, has seen unprecedented growth, with the film sector alone surging to over Rs 172 billion in 2022, according to Statista.

The emergence of Over-The-Top (OTT) platforms, reaching over 400 million users across the country, has further fueled the financial success of those involved in the industry. Leading actors are now earning crores for both movies and exclusive series on OTT platforms.

Despite being under 18, Riva Arora has an impressive filmography, contributing to nearly 28 projects. Her notable roles include appearances alongside Vicky Kaushal in Uri: The Surgical Strike, portraying the younger version of Janhvi Kapoor in Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, featuring in Sridevi’s Mom as ‘Piyu,’ and performances in shows like Bandish Bandits and Fireflies: Parth Aur Jugnu, among numerous others. Her most recent noteworthy on-screen endeavour was in the Rakul Preet Singh-starrer Chhatriwali.

Beyond her acting prowess, Arora is a content creator and influencer, boasting a staggering following of over 11.2 million on Instagram. Celebrating her achievement of reaching 10 million followers, she marked the occasion by purchasing a luxurious Audi Q3, valued at Rs 40 lakh.

According to GQ, Riva Arora’s net worth stands at $1 million, approximately Rs 8.2 crores, solidifying her status as the wealthiest child actor in the country. This distinction was previously held by Sara Arjun, daughter of renowned South Indian actor Raj Arjun, whose net worth reached around Rs 10 crores. However, as Sara turned 18 in June, she is no longer classified as a “child actor,” passing the baton to Riva Arora.

Despite her undeniable success, Arora’s age has been a source of controversy, with some questioning the authenticity of her age. Facing criticism for participating in projects that garnered negative attention, she addressed the concerns in an interview with DNA, stating, “What do I even say to that? I don’t have anything to say to people who are doubting my age or what I am doing. The people who are giving me love are enough for me.”
