The University of Strathclyde, Glasgow is inviting applications for MSc Sustainability and Environmental Studies for 2024

The University of Strathclyde, Glasgow is inviting applications for the MSc Sustainability and Environmental Studies course starting in September 2024. The course claims to offer a cross-disciplinary approach to the study of environmental management, policy, the circular economy, sustainability and sustainable development in both developed and developing countries, as per the press release from the university.

It is suitable for applicants from all academic backgrounds and claims to offer a wide range of subject options enabling them to choose classes to suit their background.

Under this course, students will take three compulsory classes (adding to 30 credits) and choose a further 90 credits from a wide range of optional classes. This wide choice ensures that each student can tailor their curriculum to match their background and career aspirations and also ensure the curriculum is cross-disciplinary. Each class is normally taught for two hours per week over eight to 11 weeks. Following successful completion of the taught classes, students will undertake a dissertation.

Students with a first-class or second-class honours degree (or international equivalent) in any degree discipline are eligible to apply for this course. All backgrounds considered, including social sciences, arts, engineering, law, chemistry, maths, physics, geology, biology and business.

Also, minimum 6.5 grades in IELTS (Academic) is required as per the eligibility criteria. Fees for international students is £27,500 for 2024/ 25. Additionally, the faculty of Engineering International Scholarship for new international students would be available for this course.
