Parliament breach intruders linked to ‘Bhagat Singh Fan Club’ on social media
In the ongoing probe into the breach of Parliament security, investigators have uncovered that all the accused involved were affiliated with the social media page ‘Bhagat Singh Fan Club.’ The individuals in question initially convened in Mysuru approximately one and a half years ago.
According to police sources, Sagar Sharma, hailing from Lucknow’s Manaknagar area, arrived in Delhi in July but was unable to enter the Parliament House during a prior attempt.

Sagar Sharma maintained two Facebook accounts through which he actively shared and commented on similar posts. Both of his Facebook accounts have remained inactive for several months. Investigations into Sagar’s Facebook account have revealed connections with individuals from Kolkata, Rajasthan, and Haryana.
The Sharma family, including Sagar’s father, mother, and younger sister, originally hails from Uttar Pradesh’s Unnao district and has been residing in rented accommodation in Lucknow for nearly two decades. In response to recent events, the family has fled to an undisclosed location, leaving their residence locked.
Himanshu, the owner of the electric rickshaw Sagar operated, described him as a “very nice boy” who adhered to his routine of driving the e-rickshaw in the morning and returning it in the evening. Sagar’s family, unaware of his involvement in the Parliament security breach, revealed that he had left home two days ago to participate in a “protest” in Delhi.

Sagar’s maternal uncle expressed disbelief, stating, “I am shocked that he jumped into the parliament; only God knows the truth. He has been pulled into it as per a conspiracy by someone who holds a big position; otherwise, he is a simple boy.”
Anuj Kumar Sharma, a fellow e-rickshaw driver, attested to Sagar’s good character, saying, “He also used to drive an e-rickshaw on rent; the boy is very good; he never quarrelled with anyone in the locality; whenever I used to come to the locality, I saw that he came, did his work and went away. He used to come and sit near my house and ask for work.”
On Wednesday, marking the anniversary of the 2001 Parliament terror attack, Sagar Sharma and another individual, Manoranjan D, breached security protocols by entering the Lok Sabha chamber from the public gallery during Zero Hour. The intruders released yellow gas from canisters and shouted slogans before being subdued by Members of Parliament.
