Simplilearn and iHUB DivyaSampark, IIT Roorkee have joined forces to launch a Professional Certificate programme in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML). The programme aims to offer participants an opportunity to delve into the latest advancements in AI and machine learning, covering areas such as generative AI, prompt engineering and ChatGPT, according to an official release.

Simplilearn claims that the newly launched programme includes engagement in more than 25 hands-on, industry-relevant projects and capstones. It features live virtual sessions led by industry experts, self-paced video lessons and masterclasses delivered by instructors from institutes like IITs and NITs. Participants will also have access to exclusive hackathons and Ask Me Anything sessions facilitated by IBM, the release mentioned.

AI and ML industry holds a bright future, with a projected global market value set to reach $267 billion by 2027. AI is expected to make a significant contribution of $15.7 trillion to the global economy by 2030. According to the latest survey data from Randstad, more than 50% of professionals believe that AI will play a crucial role in future-proofing their careers, as per the release.
