HealthTech Arva Health launches at-home fertility test for women with PCOS, thyroid issues

Arva Health, a startup focusing on women’s healthcare through data-driven insights, has introduced home fertility tests for women. According to a press statement, the test will help women monitor and track their hormones, thus empowering them to make informed choices about their reproductive health.

The test measures up to 12 hormone levels that affect fertility, all from the comfort of the home and at an affordable cost compared to traditional infertility clinics, it claimed.

“Women’s health in India has been overlooked for too long. We’re so inspired by the women we serve as we give them the power to choose their fertility destiny. At Arva Health, we believe that every woman deserves to know her body, and we are committed to empowering women to make informed decisions about their reproductive future. Our Arva Fertility Test is a powerful starting point that helps women detect any fertility issues early and take control of their fertility journey, whether they want kids today or someday,” said Nidhi Panchmal, Founder of Arva Health.

According to a report from the Office of National Statistics, more and more working women are choosing to have children later in life, often in their thirties, owing to the pressure of having to balance a family with their jobs, have a higher standard of living, and increasing cost of raising children.

Over 95% of women feel stressed and anxious about getting pregnant as they get older. Arva Health is helping women to understand and take charge of their reproductive health. They give women important information about fertility and help them make decisions that are right for their bodies and their futures.

The Bengaluru-based company, founded in early 2023, understands privacy’s importance and has partnered with trusted labs for blood and sample collection at home. The startup shares a detailed fertility report within 48 hours.

“We aim to be a reproductive health concierge, helping users manage their health journey by recommending safe, vetted doctors, facilitating appointment bookings, and connecting users with a supportive community of individuals on a similar path. Many believe that women can conceive at the drop of a hat, but the truth is that most women are left in the dark about their fertility until they face challenges or consider an IVF clinic. Our solution is not just a diagnostic tool but a comprehensive journey into understanding oneself. Through our digital platform, women don’t just get results; they gain insights tailored to their unique history,” Dipalie Bajaj, Co-Founder and CEO of Arva Health, said.

“Arva Health’s At-Home Fertility Test for Women offers an unprecedented opportunity for women to understand their reproductive hormones in clear and straightforward language. It includes often-overlooked tests like AMH and Ovarian Reserve, and the reports offer personalized insights based on individual data, helping women understand how their lifestyle choices influence fertility health,” the company said in a statement.

Arva Health provides insights into the biological clock and how conditions like PCOS may impact fertility, identifying early red flags and potential issues for proactive steps, it added.
