OP Jindal Global University, University of Delhi join forces to host 74th Annual All India Commerce Conference
The 74th Annual All India Commerce Conference (AICC) organised by the Indian Commerce Association is set to take place from December 13-15, 2023, at the campuses of the University of Delhi’s Delhi School of Economics. Hosted by the Department of Commerce, Faculty of Commerce and Business, this event expects participation from more than 2,500 delegates who have already registered, representing various regions across India and from abroad, according to an official release.
“The ICA-JGU conference comes at an important time which brings young people together with experts and faculty in commerce and management education. It also aims to fulfil the vision of NEP2020 which encourages multidisciplinary learning and academic collaboration. This conference is a true collaboration towards that end,” C. Raj Kumar, founding vice chancellor, O.P. Jindal Global University, said.
“DU and OPJGU, both institutions are hosting the 74th Annual All India Commerce Conference. It will host discussions on diverse themes including business transformation, SDGs, and innovation and startups. Around 1800 research papers will be received and presented, bringing out a unique diversity of thought and ideas,” Ajay Kumar Singh, professor, Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi, said.
The 74th edition of the AICC serves as a platform for in-depth intellectual discourse. With a wide range of sessions and robust participation from scholars, faculty and experts across the globe, the conference emphasises its importance and aims to delve into critical themes. This collective journey of sharing knowledge and insights, themed around ‘One Earth-One Family-One Future,’ is committed to nurturing innovation, fostering collaboration, and advancing excellence in commerce education.
