Madhya Pradesh full ministers list 2023: Kailash Vijayvargiya, Prahlad Patel take oath in Mohan Yadav’s cabinet
Madhya Pradesh Cabinet Ministers portfolios: The Madhya Pradesh cabinet was expanded after 28 MLAs including BJP stalwarts Kailash Vijayvargiya and Prahlad Singh Patel took oath as ministers on Monday. MP Governor Mangubhai Patel administered the oath of office to 28 ministers today, including six ministers of state (independent charge) and four state ministers.
Apart from Vijayvargiya and Patel, Rakesh Singh, Rao Uday Pratap Singh, Karan Singh Verma, Nagar Singh Chauhan, Samapatiya Uike, Eidal Singh Kansana, Pradyuman Singh Tomar, Inder Singh Parmar, Nirmala Bhuria, Tulsi Silawat, Vijay Shah, Vishwas Sarang, Govind Singh Rajput, Narayan Singh Kushwaha, Rakesh Shukla and Chetan Kashyap took oath as cabinet ministers.

With this addition, the total number of cabinet ministers in Madhya Pradesh currently stands at 31, including Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and two deputy chief ministers, Rajendra Shukla and Jagdish Devda.
The maximum strength of the council of ministers in Madhya Pradesh, which has 230 MLAs, can be 35, including the CM.
In the 2023 Madhya Pradesh assembly elections, the BJP claimed victory by winning 163 out of 230 seats, overcoming anti-incumbency factors. The new Chief Minister secured 95,699 votes, winning by a margin of 12,941 from his constituency, Ujjain Dakshin.
